Feeding All Canadians

Feeding All Canadians came to us with a brief about targeting Gen Z to bring attention to, donate money and help end food insecurity in Canada.


In our research, we learned Gen Z loves to get behind good causes but doesn't always like to put in the hard work. They want something out of it. Like clout for their socials, perhaps. At the time, Loblaws was facing public scrutiny for the price gouging of bread and in need of a some PR love.

Because of this, our solution was to commission local artists to create food related street art murals around the city. Each time someone posted a photo or selfie with these murals on Instagram with #EndFoodSecurity, Loblaws Ltd would donate $1 to Feeding All Canadians.

Our target
gets clout for being good people, Loblaws gets notoriety for helping and Feeding All Canadians gets the attention and money they need.

In a time where Beyond Meat was taking over QSR's, what was a brand like Arby's to do? 

Go directly against the trend! They were always all about the meat after all.
